Jaguar XK

XK is designed and engineered in two bodystyles, Coupé and Convertible. Both are built in aluminium, which combines lightness with strength and rigidity. Every surface is sculpted to create a visual energy, with the outer aluminium skin stretched taut over the aluminium body structure. Complex mesh surfacing on the front grille, horizontal side power vents, and elegantly profiled headlamps with LED daytime running lights, create a new and distinctive visual signature.

Jaguar's Adaptive Dynamics system monitors body and wheel movements 500 hundred times a second, making constant adjustments to the dampers to achieve the ideal balance of comfort and razor-sharp handling. Jaguar XKR

Jaguar's racing heart beats fastest in the supercharged XKR, the finest expression of XK power and performance. The XK is powered by a 5.0 Litre naturally aspirated V8 direct injection petrol engine. The XKR is driven by a 5.0 Litre Supercharged V8 petrol with 510PS that delivers 0-60mph in just 4.6 seconds. Both engines are paired with Jaguar's highly acclaimed ZF 6HP28 6-speed automatic transmission. For maximum driver involvement, the transmission also features the lighting-quick Jaguar Sequential Shift™ system with steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters.  Jaguar XKR-S

 The fastest and most powerful production sports car Jaguar has ever built – the new Jaguar XKR-S. The XK range’s highly efficient 5.0 litre V8 supercharged engine has been extensively recalibrated for the new XKR-S, making it the most powerful Jaguar road engine ever produced. Power output has been increased to 550PS and maximum torque now reaches 680Nm, giving the XKR-S a top speed of 186mph (300kph) with acceleration from 0 to 60mph in just 4.2 seconds (0–100kph in 4.4 seconds). A combination of lightweight aluminium body construction and revised suspension settings delivers pin-sharp handling and supreme control. The re-engineered front suspension features a fully-machined aluminium upright that significantly increases camber and castor stiffness for precise steering with greater driver-connection and responsiveness. The rear suspension geometry has also been revised for increased camber stiffness, and spring and damper rates have been revised at both ends of the car. The Active Differential has been reprogrammed to reduce steering sensitivity at very high speed, increasing stability and driver control. The Dynamic Stability Control has also been reworked to match the car’s increased capabilities. Revised settings alter slip thresholds, differential torque distribution and engine and brake intervention levels, allowing the experienced driver to explore the outer edges of performance and handling. The Jaguar High-Performance Braking System features lightweight aluminium twin-piston sliding front callipers and single-piston sliding rear callipers, to deliver superb high-speed braking performance. The Vulcan 20" alloy wheels, forged and lightweight, feature increased tyre widths – 9" in the front and 10.5" at the rear – for greater precision and grip. A unique tuning to its Performance Active Exhaust provides the XKR-S with a distinctive and deeply satisfying aural signature.
